A contemporary and exciting dance using the latest techniques and lending itself to current movements and popular music. Jazz includes street styles and standard jazz and some hip-hop. It involves technical turns, jumps, along with movements and shapes with a zip and freedom with opportunity for dramatic expressiveness. Jazz technique at Michele’s Dance Studio develops important all around dance skills and ups a student’s performance abilities. All jazz students have the opportunity to perform in our Spring dance recital.
