We left Big Cypress on 12/30 after Tweezer Reprise to spend the night in Hollywood, Florida, due to the fact that I use crutches and Big Cypress wasn't the easiest place to get around...then planned to return before the 1st set on Friday.....Clear Roads all the way to I 75...we get on the highway 1 1/2 miles into it we are going 75 mph and joking about being in a shower in 45 minutes...then I notice 2 cars came to a complete stop a few hundred feet in front of us...I slowly pull up in between the 2 cars completely blocking the 2 lane Highway ...and in awe of what my eyes saw just a few more hundred feet up on the highway.

I got out of the car and smelled Gasoline, the people in the 2 cars on either side of me were yelling that it was a gasoline truck that overturned on the highway just up ahead and to back up. I asked if the people in the wreck were ok? Nobody knew, we were the 1st on the scene in the middle of Alligator Ally....So while I yelled at them to call 911 on there Cell Phones, I ran to the wreckage to see if anyone needed help....Good news NO Gasoline Truck...Bad News: 2 trucks, one with a boat that was on a trailor, the other truck with a mobile home that was attached to the back...and a car, with no reckognizable pieces.....the gasoline was coming from boat that was overturned laying across the 2 lane highway perpendicularly.....no one was trapped and there were no serious injuries...I got everyone to back up from the boat and 12 minutes later over a dozen Phlorida Highway Patrol Cars Surrounded my Car. They weren't there for me though....

2 1/2 hours later.....after a helicopter ambulance landed to take 2 of the injured away and 2 cranes came to move the wreckage, We were on our way....

So for anyone wondering why there was traffic after the 1st night...that is why....Something like that really makes you realize what is important...We left for the show on Friday at 2:30 and parked at 3:30 in plenty of time for the 1st set.
